Easy Algebra Question Help Plz!
1.Complete the table below to solve the equation 2.5x – 10.5 = 64(0.5x). x f(x) = 2.5x – 10.5 g(x) = 64(0.5x) 2 3 4 5 6
@timo86m plz help?
64*0.5=32 so solve for 2.5x-32x=10.5 solve for x Is the options correct??
You forgot the x
i mean to say, i am gwtting -ve vaue
?
2.5-32 is -29.5 then x is like 10.5/-29.5 which is -ve
Oh ok
is the question f(x)=g(x), solve for x and f(x)=2.5x-10.5,and g(x)=64*(0.5x) right??
what they want you to do is to plug in the values 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 in to the two functions, f and g and see where they equal the same value. for instance, when x=2, f(2) = 2.5(2) - 10.5 = 5 - 10.5 = -5.5 and g(2) = 64[0.5(2)] = 64(1) = 64. do the same for 3, 4, 5, and 6 and presumably one of those x-values will equal the same number for f and g.
Thank You!
