Can anyone give me a step by step for this?? Find a quadratic equation with roots -1 + 4i and -1 - 4i

OpenStudy (twopointinfinity):

Are you busy @thomaster ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x) = x^2 + a where a is the product of the conjugate pairs... so if you multiply (-1 + 4i)(-1-4i), that becomes your value for a.

I think I got it. Thanks(:

Thanks @TwoPointInfinity
