A or D, Let me check
D - @Abhisar is right, simple mammals before birds.
Thnx @alphadxg !
I know this is late, but for anyone else looking the correct answer is - A. cyanobacteria, sea scorpion, birds, saber-toothed cats.
can u xplain how u figured it out @lasoftballchic101 ?
I figured it out because I had to answer that question for an assignment and that was the correct answer.
I dont know how teachers corrected it....but ill urge u to view this link...it says mammals appeared before birds
And saber toothed cats were mammals
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_evolutionary_history_of_life#Basic_timeline
But it is possible that i might be wrong..so i'll check it too
yes ur teachers were ryt since the question says just birds and a specific mammal i.e saber tooth cats. Its true that mammals appeared before birds but in particular saber toth cats appeared 42 million years ago however first bird appeared 150 million years ago...so thnx for correcting me @lasoftballchic101
