OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

f(x) = tan(4x − π)=-tan(pi-4x)=tan4x ok??

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

now tan4x=sin4x/cos4x now for finding asymptotes equate cos4x=0 s0 \[4x=\frac{ (2n+1)*\pi }{ 2}\] ok so far??

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

so now \[x=\frac{ (2n+1)\pi }{ 8 }\] now put n=1,2,3,...... and u can find asymptotes between pi/4 to 5pi/4
