Can someone walk me through this? 1. How do you measure the distance between a point and a line? 2. Each perpendicular contains a chord. Compare the lengths of the chord. 3. What is the relationship among the lengths of the chords that are equidistant from the center of a circle.

For the distance between a point and a line, you have to find the line that passes through the given point that is perpendicular to the given line...find where this line and the given line cross, and then find the distance from this point and the given point.

in the drawing, the chords are the same length because for #3, all chords that are equidistant from the center of a circle have the same measure...
