What type of correlation would you expect from a scatterplot of time you have traveled versus miles remaining until you reach your destination?

the longer you drive, the less distance you have remaining....that's an inverse relationship which is a negative correlation.

and i would say it's pretty strong...unless you are driving at abnormally variable speeds the entire trip.
