A carnival ride is in the shape of a wheel with a radius of 20 feet. The wheel has 16 cars attached to the center of the wheel. What is the central angle, arc length, and area of a sector between any two cars?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All i really need to know is how to find the central angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there are 360 degrees in the entire circle...divide that by 16 and it'll give you the central angle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's that easy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

should be...i don't see anything that would make it trickier

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks man

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i took 360/16 and got 22.5 does that sound right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sounds about right... :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks man have a nice day
