Please help me understand this?! Will fan and give medal!

OpenStudy (kmullis6):

Solve for x: −2x + 5 < 7 x > −1 x < −1 x > −6 x < −6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First you want to get X by its self, so you would add a positive 2 to make the equation X + 5< 7, then the equation would be 5X < 7 and like before, you want X by its self so to get rid of +5 you subtract -5 to get X < 7.

@VickySkittles you have the right idea, but you need to time x by -2.
