What are the discontinuities of the function f(x) = the quantity of x squared plus 2 x minus 8, all over 12 x plus 24.?

Discontinuties is when the denominator is not equal to zero. So get the god dam denominator and equate it to 0.

No I mean the denominator lol. Sorry mate.
\[12x + 24 = 12(x + 2) = 0\] The only solution for this equation is x+2 = 0 because 12 can't be zero. x = -2.
