multiply nr and dnr by sqrt(5) then solve it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's nr and dnr?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

numerator and denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

15 x 5 and 3 x 6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

15*sqrt(6)*sqrt(5)/(3*sqrt(5)*sqrt(5)) 15*sqrt(30)/15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did u get it??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im trying to figure out what i should multiply. 15 x 6 and 3 x 50 or 15 x 3 and 6 x 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

numerator is 15=sqrt(6). multiply it with sqrt(5) . that gives 15*sqrt(30) Similarly denominator is 3*sqrt(5). multiply with sqrt(5). that gives 3*5=15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

=15*sqrt(30)/15= sqrt(30)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i understand better now.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 1+2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what?? 1+2??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I had divided 15 and 30 by 15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are forgetting sqrt for 30

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what should i do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?
