Personal, as in about yourself?  Maybe discovering yourself, your life in middle school, highschool, or maybe a difficult situation you were in.

Hi Tay003, to answer your question, a personal narrative is basically a chance for you to narrate a story, and most of the times, that story is a experience that you've had.
In terms of a personal narrative, it is best to choose a story that takes place over the course of one day, not a bunch of days or a week or months time. With this being said, some topics could be an experience that made you look at your world differently like, the time a sibling was born, acing a hard math test, one of your best birthdays, a memento of a trip, a day at summer camp, or so on. It basically depends on what you would like to tell a story about.
