Please help me!! WILL MEDAL! Which of the following are series?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your question is incomplete

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry guys

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I want to say all but the first one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You sure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The first looks like it has a rhythm and then ends but also what kind of series is option D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

almost haven't dealt with sequences or series in a while,I am 95% sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

option D and B are similar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah im sure the first one is not and the rest are

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B, C, E

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I meant B and E are similar, not sure about D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think D is also a series

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll check if you are right @kx2bay at the end thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think D is a serise

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why wouldn't it be a series? it would add 5 for 50 times

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then you might as well say 50 times 5 right, there's no term the changes , only a constant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

typo: there's no term that changes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey I will medal at the end when I see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@minoz please can u help here? is D a series?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100% sure the only one that is not a series is the first one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@moemand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@eHoaX I know where u r coming from, you could be right, I'm trying to find a site that states what are the conditions for a series, none sate what the difference between the terms should be, they say it should be a constant difference, in this case with D this difference is ZERO, am not sure if that is ok, see the first line of this site http://www.mathwords.com/a/arithmetic_series.htm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I AM 100% RIGHT! lol sorry, 100% take a chance and do what I say!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright Ill check it at the end like I say. I will medal so don't worry aha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A and D are not series

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5+5+5+5+...+5 isn't a series?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kx2bay i think A and D are not part of any series B and E are AP C is sum of squares to n terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks @minoz, there is a very fine line and I can't say for sure if the difference between the terms can be Zero or it must be different than zero, I searched the web for 30 min or not one site says if d can =0 or not :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess @moemand you can take the gamble and go with your gutt-feel about D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D wasn't one if I remember.. the B,C,E one was right..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks buddy for confirming it, good luck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll need help all night
