what is one way that music has effected your life?

i have been through a lot in my life, and music has always been a way for me to express how i am feeling about certain things. i am always listening to music or singing or something!! With music, there are all different genres and styles and everyone can find someone to relate to like i did :)

Well, it educated me. One of the best ways that I got educated was music. There are other people that educated me(parents, other family members, teachers), but also some good singers really helped me get a good education. :)

music saved my life from suicide .... music speaks to my heart and gave me a reason to let go and start over with my life. every song has a melody and every word has a meaning that speaks to the heart....

it made me who i am. it allows me to show my emotion and passion. it is difficult for me to show my emotions about something, and they way i play the piano, flute or piccolo really displays my love of music. it also taught me not to be afraid of putting yourself out there. as well as its ok to make mistakes.

it shapes and molds our history. whether personal or national. ex; saving my life (or possibly naming me cuz i was almost named after a song) vs. the jazz era in us history that began the idea of teenage rebellion as well as integration.

it has also been proven to help people make friends over common music taste or people who stutter to help them speak clearly without repetition while listening to music.
