How is anaerobic respiration affected by changes in temperature?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Rate of respiration increases with increase in temperature upto a point

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Do u need an explanation ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Abhisar Yes, Please.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

For this u need to have a lill knowledge about Kinetic theory

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Respiration wthr aerobic or anaerobic both require enzymes which lowers the activation energy of any reaction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hello; the temperature will increase to rate of anaerobic respiration, to its manual point. if the heat puts stress on the organism and the rate will decrees; as if the more heat there is, the more it will eventually die. GoodLuck (:

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Increases in the temperature of a system results from increases in the kinetic energy of the system. Now, As the temperature of a system is increased it is possible that more molecules per unit time will reach the activation energy. Thus the rate of the reaction may increase.
