NEED HELP?! Simplify the following fractions by putting them in lowest terms or by performing the indicated operations. 1) a^4/2a^2 - 4a^4 multiplied by 8a^3+1/2a+4a^2 2) a-ab/a^2 divided by a-1/a^3 3) 9x^2-1/12x^2-12x divided by 9x^2+12x+3/3x^2-6x+3 4) 2a^2/3b multiplied by 15b^2/4a^3 divided by 15b^2/6a^3

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

That is 4 questions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

these need to be rewritten. The notation is too vague

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

$$\Huge \frac{a^4}{2a^2 - 4a^4} *\frac{ 8a^3+1}{2a+4a^2}$$

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

start by factoring them as a hint \[8a^3 + 1\] is the sum of 2 cubes and can be factored to (2a +1)(4a^2 - 2a + 1) after factoring the other terms you'ss see common factors that can be removed... hope it helps
