Well I'm not an art expert, but I would say it would go along with math terms maybe? So 2D shapes, it would be area and for 3D shapes it would be volume.
yea ik that but non of my answer choices say that here are the answer choices: A- a stroke B-a fill C- an alpha D-a gradient

Yes positive. Stroke is the edge of a shape. No idea what alpha is. And gradient is the tool to make the colors faded.
