HELP PLEASE! What are the products of the following combustion reaction? 2C2H2(g)+5O2(g)-> A) C4H2(g)+H2O2(g)+4O2(g) B) 4C(s)+2H2O(g)+4O2(g) C) 4CO2(g)+2H2O(g) D) 4CO2(g)+H2O(g)+2O2(g)

OpenStudy (aaronq):

in combustion reactions water and carbon dioxide are always produced. btw, post chemistry q's in the chemistry section.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

water and carbon dioxide = CO2+H2O= H2CO3

OpenStudy (aaronq):

yeah, but it's not necessary to write "= carbonic acid" that's not part of the reaction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm so confused

OpenStudy (aaronq):

a combustion reaction looks like this: hydrocarbon + oxygen gas -> carbon dioxide + water

So C?
