OpenStudy (usman1995):

sorry i'm not that kind of expert

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh kk thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I've done this type of question in my previous class

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First find the volume of the cuboid = l * b * h

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Volume of cuboid = 8 * 5 * 1 = 40

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the area of that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no , then find the area of triangular prism

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Volume of prism = 1/2 b * h * l = 1/2 * 1 * 8 * 5 = 40 / 2 = 20 , but we have to find volume of half the triangular prism , thus we'll divide 20 by 2 = 10 . Add volumes of triangular prism and cuboid and you get the answer = 50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

50 m cube .

thanks! :)
