it isn't the ups and downs that make life difficult,ITS THE JERKS....PLEASE tell me what it means...? give examples in Charlie Chaplin's life...also wat should we do in our life to ignore it
The ups and downs of life stand for the problems and successes we go through. Like, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But that's life, and it is not what makes life difficult to live. The jerks are the bullies, the abusers of authority, and the cruel people. They are what make life difficult, the ones who can't mind their own business and make a life out of making yours harder. I'm really not sure how Charlie Chaplin's life is an example of this, since all I've ever known of him is that he was a successful actor, though you can always search this stuff up. Now you just have to tell how to ignore/avoid those people that try to make your life difficult. Does that help?
thank you....but I would like to know how do these jerks make our life miserable......more than the failures in our lives? pls I have to present it in class
Well, there are different settings in which jerks can make life terrible, and they come in all shapes and sizes. No. 1 would be work. They make it harder to complete work, causing a downfall in efficiency. If the jerk is in a higher position, then they can abuse their authority by controlling you. This could be by bugging you, ruining your work or distracting you. A similar type can be found in schools, where it is a lot more popular to be a jerk. This can be through bullying, harassment, and verbal abuse. They scare younger children or their own classmates, until those kids are too scared to come to school. And this ruins grades, potential friendships, and self-esteem
thank you so much..:)
Oh, also, you can use little examples, like 'when you go to a coffee shop, and see that two spaces ahead of you, in line, there's one jerk making everyone wait on him while he caused a fuss. These types of people just don't have the time for anyone but themselves, yet, they think everyone has the time of day to spend on them.'
