Plot: the main events of a play, novel, movie, or similar work, devised and presented by the writer as an interrelated sequence.

Summary: a brief statement or account of the main points of something.

According to their definitions, yes I believe that they are the same. I'm not your enemy here. You have to treat others like you want to be treated. On your last post, I was genuinely asking whether it was an english question or not. I like to clear the fog away from questions. I've actually never seen a post get deleted until now.
