find the length of ac

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

is the angle subtended by the arc in degrees or radians

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\theta =\frac{ l }{ r },or~l=r*\theta,where,~\theta~ is~\in~radians.\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

degrees. degrees equals 60. AB=24ft

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok... so is AB the radius...? if so the arc length \[AC = \frac{60}{360} \times 2 \times \pi \times radius\] the arc is a part of the circumference. the fraction is determined by the angle/360 hope it helps
