A rectangle has a length of the cube root of 81 inches and a width of 3 to the 2 over 3 power inches. Find the area of the rectangle. how would i multiply these two , to come up with my answer

OpenStudy (imstuck):

Ok, first thing to do is look at the 3 to the 2/3 power. That is the same thing as\[\sqrt[3]{3^{2}}=\sqrt[3]{9}\] Now that both the indexes are the same we can multiply them. That comes out to be the cube root of 729 which equals 9.
