It is C or D but I can't see the difference. What is the difference besides the parenthesis?

Ok so in D. it is the square root of two over two. With C. it's everything over 2

Ok so it is D. It has to look like this:
\[x = 2\pm \frac{ \sqrt{2} }{ 2 }\]
