Question 1.1. Find the best word to complete each sentence. Possums ___ death in order to deceive predators in search of live prey. (Points : 1) circumspect excavate feign orbit
Circumspect i'm not sure what that means but "circum" is the latin root for "around" so thats not it. Excavate means to dig up. so again. not it. Feign means to fake (ding ding ding winner here) Orbit means to go around again not it.
That makes sense what about this question 2. Mythological stories often illustrate ___ events in nature such as birth, life, and death. (Points : 1) cavernous circuitous cyclic rotund
If something is cavernous it would be large (think of a cave as being cavernous) Circuitous, not exactly sure of the definition, probably going to google that Cyclic is like a cycle. so in other words "stories often illustrate the cycle of events in nature such as birth etc" Rotund... well if something is rotund its rather large... typically used instead of saying someone is fat >.>
Cyclic is right and i don't know what Circuitous even means.
thanks to google i now do. It means a path taken that is longer than necessary basically. so yeah that couldnt be right XD
