p=p(h)=Ae^kh It says to give an interpretation for the constant A. How exactly do i do this??

OpenStudy (kainui):

Well, what's this supposed to model? I would suggest looking at what is p at h=0? If for instance h is time, this would make A represent the initial population that is growing exponentially since p(0)=A because anything to the zero power is 1.

Ok so yeah, the question is, Air pressure decays exponentially at 0.4% of each rise of 30m above sea level. so we let p = p(h) denotes air pressure. Does this mean that A is the origin before the rise in height??

OpenStudy (kainui):

Yep, exactly. =)

ok thank you so much
