I'll give you a hand with the first one.
When we talk about the common form, we say it's a form of a "enunciado" that englobes all, you can use it to englobe an action before it.
for example.
"Leiste el libro" is not common, because we are refering to just one person, woman or boy, but not really further than that.
The correct form would be:
"Leer el libro". Is a more generalized form and that is applyable.
an example of aplication is:
"Debes pararte y leer el libro". A little more complex set, but the simplest example I could come up with.
