you sure that is 10+2 ? Please confirm. I assume it to be 10x. and sqrt3 will not be the only ans if the above eqn is correct @OrangeMaster

4x^2=12 Dividing by 4 on both sides x^2 = 3 x = +\[\sqrt{3}\] or - \[\sqrt{3}\]
