@SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

the rate of change is equal in any interval. It's 1.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Any line has the same rate of change :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you! can you help me with two more like those?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I'll take a shot...

2. A. The slopes are equal. B. The graph has a greater slope. C. the equation has a greater slope. D. none of the above.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

The slope can be defined as a growth per each unit on the x-axis, if you know what I mean. The lines you have , have the same rate of change , they are parallel, except that they have different y-intercepts.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its A?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thank you last one 3. A. the slope are equal. B. the graph has a greater slope C. the function rule has a greater slope. D. none of the above

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

on the graph the x increases by 1 and y increases by 2 and the other line, when x increases by 1 and y increases by 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
