OpenStudy (alphadxg):

Holy crap, when was the released?

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

It had come in our daily newspaper today! But it was made in the early April!

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

Wow, that should be very interesting.

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

Yup!

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

this is absolutely amazing shreehari...hopefully we can have our brain mapped and can find solution to many mental disorders!!:D and i feel so good to see many active participants in biology group eager to learn and share information! thumbs up girl:D

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

*thumbs up boy! Anyways..thnk you!

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

It'd be really awesome to find out the mysteries of our dreams!

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

ooppsss...so sorry....i dint know..:O

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

@Abhisar

OpenStudy (abhisar):

THese guys dont understand PRIVACY

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

lol! Thats true!

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

@Frostbite

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi idiots.

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

I wonder how Sex dreams will be like.... lol

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

We meet many unknown people and go to many unknown places in our dreams...It'll be wonderful to see them on a screen!

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

Oh snap, what if they record my Witch dreams? ohhh nooooooooo

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

I have had witch dreams before, and the dream was duplicated, it was same dream again, and again. weird.

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

@alphadxg ...lol! Your thinking is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

@shreehari499 lol I'm scared

OpenStudy (abhisar):

http://prntscr.com/3msf0g

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

But this may also end up being a FAILED one bcz..as @Abhisar told..one may not like to see the other person interfering in their personal matters..:)

OpenStudy (abhisar):

These things are just at a super primitive level ryt nw......will take a lot of time to come as what is being discussed here !

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

well i would not like people seeing my dreams..:P dat would be crazy..XP

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is pretty cool

OpenStudy (aaronq):

While it's a cool concept, i think you're misinterpreting what they're claiming. They dont "extract" images from your dreams, but correlate brain activity patterns obtained prior (when the subject was looking at certain images). Thanks for posting this nonetheless!

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

The word 'extract' is exactly given in today's Daily newspaper so i just EXTRACTED from it..:)

OpenStudy (aaronq):

hmmm i think that's just sensationalist writing, is says in the article you posted, "have built a ‘dream-reading’ machine that has been able to loosely predict the images that sleeping subjects have seen"

OpenStudy (koikkara):

wOW bRO... MACHAN KALAKI..... 50th death ANNIVERSARY TO MR. JAWAHARLAL NEHRU, the first Prime Minister of India and a central figure in Indian politics for much of the 20th century.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

107th Birth anniversary Rachel Louise Carson, who was an American marine biologist and conservationist whose book Silent Spring and other writings are credited with advancing the global environmental movement.

OpenStudy (koikkara):

@shrutipande9 Will it look colourful, if we create a colourful GK Page for OS ! @aaronq All Opinions are welcome !

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

thats a really nice idea @koikkara...OS has been thinking about this and would definitely come up with something like this soon hopefully....but dont use this thread to post ur feedback...do it in d feedback section

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They don't have any clue as to what the image a person is dreaming of actually looks like. It is as @aaronq described. They simply attempt to correlate brain activity when observing visual stimuli while conscience with brain activity during dreams. This is not that surprising as we do know a bit about what part of the brain deals with what (like math, language, walking, etc).
