help please , astronomers measure large distances in light years , one light year is the distance that light can travel in one year or aproximatly 5,880,000,000,000 miles , suppose a star is 13.6 light years away from earth how many miles away is it in scientific notation ? i also have another question like this but subsitute 13.6 for 14.4, i do have the answers but i am not sure they are right...1. i think is 7.9968*10^13, 2. i think is 8.4672*10^13 . thank you in advance :)
