When Mr. Lucky won the lottery, he decided that he would split the money among his four children. He would give 50 percent of his winnings to his oldest son Jack who had just bought a new home and could really use the money. Another 25 percent of his winnings would go to his daughter Jane who would soon be finishing school. His son Gary would get 20 percent of the winnings while his youngest child, Jody, would get $700. Determine the amount of money that Mr. Lucky won in the lottery.

I would spend the money myself

We can say that the remaining percentage of the lottery which is 5% equals to 700$ Therefore 100% equals 14000$
