Which decribes Woodrow Wilson's attitude toward American entry into WW1

He was hesitant to enter but ended up entering for two reasons: 1) German U-Boats sunk the ship Lucitania, which the US claimed was carrying relief goods but actually was carrying both relief goods and weapons to aid German enemies. 2) Germany supposedly sent a telegram to Mexico instructing them to invade the United States. WW may have had alternative motives for entering the war such as to create a boom in the economy, but the two are listed are the most common examples.
