In view of Bohr's explanation of the link between emission spectra and electron transitions, answer more fully the question, "What does each line represent in the emission and absorption spectra of an incandescent gas?" Use at least 130 words to answer. Obviously I'm not asking anyone to write this for me, but if someone could point me in the right direction and help me figure out the general idea I would appreciate that.
