OpenStudy (rawr25):

If the D-Day invasion had failed, how might the outcome of the war have been different?

OpenStudy (juicstice):

The war would have likely ended with Berlin, not Hiroshima, being destroyed by the atomic bomb, as it was originally intended to do. I know many think the Soviet Red Army would have overrun the Germans, there was still a possiblity for a draw. If Rommel was given full command, he might have fought Zuhkov to a draw. If Normandy had failed due to Rommel's preparations, he might have been given it.Peter Tsouras's "Disaster at D-Day: The Germans Defeat the Allies,June 1944," is self-explanatory.
