24. Why is photosynthesis an example of a chemical reaction?
25. How does everyday activities like driving a car and using electricity lead to global warming?
Please help me! Last test of the semester!!
Do one queston at a time, otherwise people get confused.
Make a question then post one question in it
The answer to your first question would be electrons.
Driving a car burns fossil fuels in which releases CO2(carbon dioxide). CO2 floats into the atmosphere and STAYS there. Then when heat radiated by the sun to Earth enters the atmosphere it can't escape due to the CO2 in the atmostphere acting as a blanket and keeping the heat in. This causes warming of the Earth on a global scale, aka global warming
@mnmecom Are you seeing these?
yes, thank you @ShadowLegendX
Photosynthesis turns carbon dioxide and water into oxygen and carbohydrates, therefore a chemical change occurs.
24) It turns carbon dioxide and water into oxygen and carbohydrates,. Most things in life have chemical reactions to them, pretty much everything.
@ShadowLegendX tag team champs lol
haha yeah :)
okay, thank you @ShadowLegendX @alphadxg
The nuclear model states that the atom consists of a dense positive center called the nucleus and is orbited by negatively charged electrons. The nuclear model of the atom was first proposed by New Zealand scientist Ernest Rutherford while working in England under J. J. Thomson. Scientists have shown that the atom consists of three sub atomic particles, the proton, the neutron and the electron.
How many valence electrons does an atom of rubidium(RB, atomic number 37) have? one five six thirty-seven
A (electrons in outer shell -> Rb is Kr 5s1 -> 1 electron in its 5s subshell)
thanks @ShadowLegendX
I always learnt that this idea was disprove by Radioactivity, nuclear fission to be precise.
