A cylinder has a base with a radius of 8 inches and a height of 15 inches. What is the volume of the cylinder? (Use π = 3.14.) A. 376.8 in. cubed B. 753.6 in. cubed C. 3014.4 in. cubed D. 12,057.6 in cubed

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

volume of a cylinder would be (area of the base) times (height) so area of the base would be a circle right? :) area of a circle = pi r^2 so volume of cylinder = pi * (radius)^2 * (height)

OpenStudy (studybird123):

Ohhh ok thank you!!

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

You're welcome :) I'm glad I could help ^_^
