OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.) Empirical probability (experimental probability or observed probability)(HERE: based on given experimental results, the probability of a coin flip resulting in heads) 2.) Theoretical probability (unchanging probability)(HERE: probability of getting a heads independent of experimental results)

@Tajar What does this all mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The question asks for the theoretical probability of getting heads on a coin flip, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Theoretical probability means the chance you will get heads when you flip the coin..........on any given day or time..........you do not need to even consider previous coin tosses......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For example, the theoretical probability of: -rolling a "1" on a die is 1/6 -drawing a "queen" from a deck of cards is 4/56
