waters states of matters are steam, liquid water, and ice. what about water is the same in these states ?what can you conclude about what changes and what does not change during a change of state????

OpenStudy (aaronq):

the chemical composition of water doesnt change, only the average spacing (between molecules) changes because the molecules are moving about too fast thus are able to overcome the intermolecular forces that draw/pull them together.
