I love writing them and I'm in 8th grade. :) Make sure you have enough research and cite your sources. If that's your essay, it's good but what ever you used from Wikipedia. You DEFINITELY need to take out. Teachers hate it when  you use that site. None of the info is set in stone and sometimes it's wrong. I've used it before and I got my essay wrong. Thank god I was only doing a practice test. :) Good Luck! If you need more help just ask! :)

I'm a sophomore in AP 11 Literature and composition and got 100% on my latest research paper. NEVER USE WIKIPEDIA FOR A RESEARCH PAPER! People can change information whenever. It's not a trustworthy site. make sure you are not using weak vocabulary and using the same word over and over. Make sure your thesis statement is strong and is restated at the end of your last paragraph.   On top of that, when it comes to information you are including in your essay, it is best if the information is not constant numbers and results, as well as no run on sentences. If you are citing your sources throughout the paper (as well as at the end on a works cited or bibliography page) make sure you put the source in parenthesis right after the quote or information BEFORE the period.
