OpenStudy (loser66):

let @dan815 helps

OpenStudy (dan815):

im not sure i remember deviation for these king i think it might just be Root mean or something

OpenStudy (dan815):

oh sorry cumulative is integral p*f(p)dp

OpenStudy (dan815):

the mean is that /area

OpenStudy (dan815):

prob of less than 12= do over interval 0 to 12 integral (f(p))dp

OpenStudy (dan815):

replace all p with t, in your case since probability is a function of time and its distribution is a function of time

OpenStudy (dan815):

variance is square of how much you are away from the mean , is that righ kirby

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

sorry above I forgot to carry the square root over the integrals.. the integral itself is just the variance, so taking the square root of that will be the standard deviation

OpenStudy (dan815):

i wonder if this works tell me if i got the meaning of variance right
