OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the key words here are square and semicircle give me equations for the area of a square and a circle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

area of square part of arch is 10*10=100 now...the diameter of the circle is 10 therefor radius is 5 and area is \[\pi*r^2=\pi*25\] therefore total area is 100+25pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

incorrect @tanmaykhandait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since it is a square both sides are the same Asquare=L*L=10*10=100 Acircle=pi*r^2 Asemicircle=Acircle/2 the radius of the semicircle is half the distance of the L of the square so you get Atotal:100+25*pi/2
