If a graph was drawn to show the speed of a car, what would the slope look like as a car speeds up to pass another car? positive negative zero undefined

This is the same as the first question. Except, you have to visualize what speed is in terms of x and y. The x-axis would be time. And the y-axis would be the speed. So as time goes on, the speed can change. Well if as time goes on, speed is going up, wouldn't the line be similar to the y = x graph? A diagonal line. Well the slope of y = x is positive, so it must be positive in this case too.
