OpenStudy (gk99):

Which one of the following sentences is INCORRECTLY punctuated with commas? b) However, he turned out to be a fairly, good ruler once he surrounded himself with godly counsel. c) Unfortunately he was an angry, short-tempered person.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would think its B. Although putting a comma after "however" is correct, putting a comma after "fairly" doesn't really work.

OpenStudy (gk99):

I know that B is the answer since fairly and good should not have a comma between it - I just don't understand why C is correct? Shouldn't you put a comma after Unfortunately?

OpenStudy (gk99):

I would think the same thing, but since we both know that B is incorrect I would personally go with that since in c there is no commas in the wrong spot.

OpenStudy (gk99):

Okay, thank you! :)

Any time. :)
