Suppose that in plants, tall plants (T) are dominant to short plants (t), and smooth seeds (S) are dominant to wrinkled seeds (s). A dihydrid plant was crossed to a short plant with wrinkled seeds. What proportion of the progeny is expected to have genotype Ttss? Please help! I think I know it but want to confirm??

OpenStudy (abhisar):

ur question is not clear? short plant with wrinkled seeds was crossed with which plant ?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

to a dihybrid, so the cross is TtSs x ttss since we're assuming independent assortment, you can do 2 individual punett squares |dw:1401216667626:dw| so 0.5 are Tt and 0.5 are ss, 0.5*0.5=0.25 so 1/4 are Ttss
