OpenStudy (aaronq):

A wooden rod is suspended by a string attached to support, on the other end the rod is attached to a piece of styrofoam floating on water. Which of these is closest to the equilibrium position of the system? Because of gravity i would say A is closest, but for some reason i think B is the answer. Can anyone point me into what principles i should look into?
