Which sentence does not have an error in subject and verb agreement? A. The night air, soft and cool, were blowing in through the car window. B. A grapefruit half is waiting for me on the breakfast table. C. Isn't vitamins and minerals equally present in all foods? D. Glossy green leaves and brilliant sunlight has created a beautiful scene.
Which noun and verb pair do you see is both singular or both plural? This is the agreement you are looking for!
I thinl B or D
I would give you the answer but one of the mods forbade me haha:)
You can give the answer but you have to explain it to me
Ok. The answer is B - The reason is because the word "half" is singular and the verb "is" is also singular. One of the other sentences, for ex A, is incorrect because "air" is singular and "were" is plural - it should be "was" which is singular. Hope I helped! :)
Yeah I put B.. Thank you! :)
Anytime! :)
