Which was a precedent set by George Washington in his first term as president? A. He wore his general's uniform. B. He created the first political party. C. He lived in the White House. D. He appointed a cabinet of advisers.

Washington warned about the dangers of political parties, so I don't believe it's B. A. is quite random. C. is the same way. Yet, D. seems rational. After all, Washington did establish a Cabinet within the Executive Branch by appointing Thomas Jefferson as Secretary of State and Alexander Hamilton as Secretary of Treasury, a body that was not outlined within the Constitution at the time.
