ΔABC is dilated by a scale factor of 0.5 with the origin as the center of dilation, resulting in the image ΔA′B′C′. If A = (2, 2), B = (4, 3), and C = (6, 3), what is the length of line B'C' ? A.3 B.4 C.2 D.1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[d _{BC}=\sqrt{(x _{2}-x _{1})^2+(y _{2}-y _{1})^2}\] since it is scaled by a factor of .5 all you have to do is multiply that length by .5 and you have your answer use points B and C for your x and y values
