Given the following diagram, find the required measures. Given: l | | m m∠4 = 105° and m∠6 = 50°. m∠2 = 50° 55° 75°

I think they are remote angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But that the sum 2 and 6 have to be 180 I'm right @johnweldon1993 ?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

The sum of angles 2,6 and 3 have to add up to 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay then the multiple choice answers are wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they cant be

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Well lets see... If angle 4 is 105....and those lines are parallel as stated...then angle 4 and 3 are supplementary...(they add to 180) so if angle 4 is 105....then angle 3 would be 180 - 105 = 75 That is angle 3... Now we are given...that angle 6 is 50.... So far we have angles 3 and 6....which add to (75 + 50 = 125) If we have 125 of the total 180 degrees...that means angle 2 would be 180 - 125 = 55 degrees

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Make sense @miamilove14 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thank you so much

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

No problem!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mm okay and yeah it does thank you too.
