anything to the power of 0 is 1 right? even variables? the question is, simplify mn^0

OpenStudy (amistre64):

almost .... 0^0 is undefined but it limits to 1

OpenStudy (amistre64):

a variable is effectively just 'some number' so as long as the number aint 0 then its fine

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Well in theory yes...anything to the 0 power = 1 except 0^0 but with mn^0 = m because here the ^0 only applies to the 'n' variable if this was (mn)^0 it would be different

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you sure??? im gonna go with m cause you're cute @johnweldon1993

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Yes lol, as long as the question says simplify mn^0 and not simplify (mn)^0 then yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Too bad the cute one iss wrong !!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! @johnweldon1993

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Am I @Luis_Rivera please explain O.o ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah @Luis_Rivera , explain

OpenStudy (ankit042):

Cuteness and math do they go hand in hand? anyway what @johnweldon1993 said is correct if you question is *not* (mn)^0 then answer is m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, ankit042 explained it well.

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

...I do believe that is what I said, regardless, thank you for clearing anything up? @ankit042 lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks guys you guys are a big help! @ankit042 @Luis_Rivera @johnweldon1993
